The official visit of the 96 District -Cyprus- IIW Chairman Ria Kalli to the Larnaca Inner Wheel Club, held at the home of the Assistant Treasurer Maria Panayiotou. A new member, Georgia Kalli, was welcomed to the club. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon where thoughts and ideas were exchanged regarding the 96 District and the Larnaca IW Club, as well as the forthcoming visit of the International Inner Wheel President Mamta Gupta. Congratulations to the Larnaca IWC for expanding their ideas and the scope of IIW to new members.
The Change Over of the IW Club of Famagusta Cyprus Committee, took place on the 4th of June,2025 at the house of the Incoming President Xenia Daniel Ioannidou, in the presence of The IIW 96 District Chairman Ria Kalli, the Famagusta President Maro Yiokari Neophytou, the guests Aggela Iacovidou President of IW Nicosia-Lefkothea and Anthi Peglitzi, President of IW Limassol and many Members of the Famagusta IW Club.
- During the meeting a new Member, Sophia Ioannou, was proposed to join the Famagusta IW Club, by PP Lina Varnava.
- Congratulations to the Incoming President Xenia and many thanks for her hospitality ! Also many thanks were expressed to the Immediate PP Maro, for her contribution and efforts during the last two successful years!
The Inner Wheel Club of Famagusta Cyprus, has organized a charity lunch on the 7th May, 2025, at the Gazebo Mare restaurant in Limassol Marina.
The Club President Maro Yiokari Neophytou welcomed the District Chairman Ria Kalli, the Committee Members of 96 District, the Presidents and Members of IW Clubs, the Famagusta IW Club Members and their Guests and her special Guest Christina Tryfonos, the Vice President of the Cyprus Autism Association, giving her a donation of €1,000.00, as part of the Club’s yearly project!
Mrs Christina Tryfonos thanked the President and the Members of IW Club of Famagusta and talked about the work involved, the needs and the importance of supporting the Autism Association!
It was a beautiful and fruitful morning.
The April’25 meeting of Limassol IW Club, was held on 9/4/25, at Eleftheria Manoli’s house, where the induction ceremony of three New Members took place!
All Members were happy to welcome Marina Kokkinou, Yiota Christofidou and Poly Savvides, all three very respectable ladies, in the Inner Wheel Club of Limassol.
The Members expressed their ideas discussing and programming their annual big event, Daisy’s Bazaar, which will take place in June at the residence of their Member, Maria Christodoulou. They congratulated their member p.p. Pavlina Kyprianou for being elected as the Chairman of District 96 Cyprus, for the period 2025/26 and thanked Eleftheria for her warm hospitality and Maria for offering her residence for Daisy’s Bazaar!

The Inner Wheel Club of Polis Crysochous, Arsinoe Europea, celebrated the International Woman’s Day with a speech by Psychologist Mrs Kyriaki Kouppa, over an afternoon tea, at Drousia Heights Hotel on the 16th March, 2025.
The award-winning poet, artist and educator Mrs Kyriaki Drakou, was invited at the event and honored by the President of the Club Christina Kyprianides.

The Inner Wheel Club of Famagusta held their monthly meeting on the 5th of March, 2025. Their member Mary Moyes hosted the meeting at her house, in the presence of District Chairman Ria Kalli, the President of the Club Maro Yiokari Neophytou and with almost a full attendance by all the Club Members! The President proceeded with the induction of a new member, Sophia Charalambous, from the village of Limnia, Famagusta, a very active and well noted person, who was welcomed by all members!

The Inner Wheel Club of Nicosia-Lefkothea has organized a charitable Bingo event, at Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia, on the 5th of March,2025 with great success! The President of the Club Aggela Iacovidou, welcomed the 96 District Chairman Ria Kalli, the Hon. Treasurer Pavlina Melinioti Kyprianou, the Presidents of IW Clubs Famagusta and Kyrenia, Maro Yiokari Neophytou and Lia Georgiadou and many other Dignitaries and Club Members, offering them sweets and savories.
Congratulations to the President and the Members of the Club Nicosia-Lefkothea, for their efforts to make this event a successful one.
The second District assembly of Cyprus IIW 96 District, took place in Nicosia, at Kleopatra Hotel, on the 30th of January 2025.
The three IW Clubs based in Nicosia, Kyrenia, Nicosia and Nicosia-Lefkothea, hosted the occasion and offered coffee sweets and savories during the gathering.
At the end of the meeting and prior to the lunch, the IIW 96 D Chairman Ria Kalli cut the Vasilopita. The winner of the present, offered by Chairman Ria, was Rea Vatiliotou.
The meeting gave the opportunity to all District Members to express their opinion to various matters concerning the District and to discuss and plan future events…

On the 4th December ’24, our member and past president Pavlina Kyprianou hosted again this year, the Christmas lunch of Inner Wheel.Club of Limassol. On the same day the District Chairman Ria Kalli paid her official visit to the club and gave a short speech about the objectives of IW and her targets during 2024/25. All present enjoyed the lovely Christmas atmosphere, the friendship which always encouraged and promoted and the lovely food which was carefully prepared and offered by all Limassol members.
